Electrical Engineering Manager / Plant Engineering Manager Deeside / Chester £60 63k + Quarterly Bonus + 10% Pension Major Manufacturing Site 35 Days Holiday Private Healthcare 10% Employer Pension Samuel Frank is recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to join a globally recognised manufacturing business at its major industrial site in the Deeside / Chester area. The successful Electrical Engineering Manager will lead an electrical engineering function of approximately 40 Engineers including Supervisors, Technicians and Electricians. This senior leadership position calls for an established people manager with a strong electrical background who can develop teams, influence operational priorities and improve plant reliability. The emphasis is on leadership and delivery rather than being the technical expert in every situation. Key responsibilities of the Electrical Engineering Manager include: Lead, coach and develop a 40-strong engineering team, setting priorities, managing performance and deploying resources effectively. Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with statutory and company standards. Drive plant reliability, equipment availability and maintenance performance through effective asset management and continuous improvement. Embed structured Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using methods such as 5 Why, Fishbone and Fault Tree Analysis; follow through on corrective actions and reliability reviews.
