About the Role We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading heavy engineering manufacturing operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of electrical systems and production equipment, ensuring maximum plant availability, reliability, and safety within a heavy industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on plant equipment. Diagnose and repair electrical faults on production machinery and ancillary equipment. Maintain motors, drives, inverters, PLCs, control panels, instrumentation, and process control systems. Perform fault finding on electrical, automation, and control systems. Support continuous improvement activities to enhance machinery performance and reduce downtime. Participate in breakdown investigations and root cause analysis. Assist with installation, commissioning, and modification of plant equipment.
