Electrical Maintenance Technician (Shift) Horsham, West Sussex Full-time Shift-based (4 on / 4 off) £49,183.68 rising to £52,612.56 after probationThe RoleAn opportunity has arisen for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a busy, fast-paced operations team at a large-scale processing facility in West Sussex.This role is key to maintaining plant performance and ensuring maximum availability through a proactive and reactive maintenance approach. Working on a rotating shift pattern, you will play a critical part in delivering safe, efficient engineering operations while driving continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to breakdowns efficientlyDiagnose and resolve electrical faults across a range of plant equipmentWork on components including: Sensors, relays, contactors and control panelsAC/DC motors and motor control centres (MCCs)PLC systems (fault finding desirable - Siemens S7 preferred)Support ongoing engineering projects and process improvementsMaintain high standards of health and safety, compliance, and housekeepingReport all incidents, near misses, and hazards promptlyInterpret electrical drawings and technical documentationWork with controls and instrumentation systems (e.g. pressure, temperature, flow)About YouQualified in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (HNC or equivalent)Experience within an industrial, manufacturing, or automated environmentStrong fault-finding and diagnostic ..... full job details .....
