Electrical Maintenance Technician

Electrical Maintenance Technician The Electrical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and plant machinery within the facility. The role will also include basic mechanical maintenance where appropriate. All work must be carried out safely, competently, and in compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and company procedures. Key Responsibilities Service, repair, and maintain all facility electrical and mechanical plant equipment, including plant electrical systems. Perform diagnostics using manufacturer documentation, schematics, and software to identify and resolve faults. Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability. Advise line management of potential plant problems and recommend solutions. Provide training and guidance to less experienced maintenance staff and support knowledge sharing across the team. Maintain departmental records, technical documentation, and maintenance logs as required. Identify and source spare parts, components, and external services needed for maintenance tasks. Contribute to projects that improve production reliability and efficiency. Write and maintain technical documentation, including risk assessments, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and maintenance reports.
