Maintenance Engineer (Senior Technical Operator) Shift: Full-time, rotating shifts Salary: £58,823 (inclusive of shift) You must hold an NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering to be considered for this role. Bring your technical skills and engineering expertise to a fast-paced manufacturing environment where precision, problem-solving, and proactive maintenance make all the difference. We''re looking for a skilled Senior Technical Operator who thrives on tackling complex issues, keeping production lines running smoothly, and supporting continuous improvement. What you ll be doing: Carry out advanced preventative and breakdown maintenance to ensure machines meet targets for efficiency, yield, and product quality. Support new initiatives, programs, and production changeovers across bottling and packaging equipment (fillers, labellers, UV lamps, etc.). Deliver both planned and corrective asset care in line with the maintenance execution plan (MEP). Use the site s CMMS to record maintenance activities accurately and ensure asset performance data is kept up to date. Conduct QESH checks to maintain compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Take part in shift handovers, safety briefings, and continuous improvement activities. Follow site safety procedures at all times, helping to maintain a zero-accident culture. What you ll need: NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering and an HNC (Electrical).
