      <description>Location: Gwent | Salary: &amp;pound;40000 - &amp;pound;42000/annum | Type: Permanent | We are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join to a major manufacturing site in Newport. This is a great opportunity for an apprentice-trained Electrical Maintenance Technician or Engineer who enjoys fault finding, preventative maintenance, plant reliability, and working within a fast-paced industrial environment.  This role is focused on electrical maintenance, and we looking for people with strong electrical skills gained in manufacturing, industrial, process, utilities, FMCG, engineering, or similar environments. Whilst exposure to instrumentation or control systems may be advantageous, it is not a requirement for the position.   This is a days based role, Monday – Friday, 8am until 4pm.    Responsibilities:  	 Investigate electrical breakdowns across site equipment, identify root causes, and implement timely repairs. 	 Perform maintenance on a wide range of electrical assets, including motors, variable speed drives, switchgear, distribution equipment, and control panels.
