Electrical Maintenance Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team on a permanent dayshift basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment across our facilities, ensuring optimal operational performance. Duties Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and machinery. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Repair or replace faulty components, including motors, switches, relays, and circuit boards. Programme and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimise equipment performance. Use AutoCAD software for updating schematics and layout drawings as required. Collaborate with the maintenance team to plan and execute complex repair projects. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance procedures. Provide excellent customer service by supporting internal teams with technical guidance when needed. Requirements Proven experience in electrical maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
