Electrical Maintenance Technician

We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician (In-House Electrician) to help keep our distribution centres safe, efficient, and running like clockwork.
You’ll be part of our Estate Operations team, working hands-on across our sites and keeping everything in top shape—while making sure any contractors we use deliver the same high standards.
- Salary: £38,975.00 per annum
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Job Type: Full time permanent contract
- Location: Crewe – travel to other sites will be required on an ad hoc basis to support maintenance activities or project work
Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing:
- Keeping on top of planned maintenance (PPMs) and hitting agreed timelines
- Jumping on faults quickly, diagnosing issues, and fixing them properly
- Prioritising jobs so the right things get done at the right time
- Flagging when something can’t be repaired and recommending the right fix
- Carrying out repairs, installations, and minor works across our sites
- Completing testing and certification where needed
- Carrying out site surveys and writing clear, useful reports
- Looking after your tools and making sure everything’s safe to use
- Ordering parts when needed to keep things moving
A Few Things About You:
- C&G 2382 (18th Edition)
- Level 3 electrical qualification (e.g. C&G 2365 or equivalent)
- Experience working with 3-phase electrics
It’d be great if you also have:
- Experience completing electrical certification
- City & Guilds 2391 (Testing & Inspection)
- Time served or solid experience in a similar role
