Electrical Maintenance Supervisor

We are recruiting for an Electrical Supervisor to join a well-established but growing manufacturing business operating within a heavy industrial environment. This is a key leadership role within the maintenance team where you will lead and develop the electrical function on site, driving continuous improvement, compliance and reliability across plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as a champion for electrical improvements.

- Lead and deliver electrical improvement projects (planning, budgeting & execution)

- Apply preventative & predictive maintenance practices to improve plant reliability

- Identify & highlight long-term plant risks - support senior management with repair & investment plans

- Monitor completion and quality of electrical tasks (audits and spot checks)

- Identify skills gaps within the team and implement development plans

- Support team retention

- Ensure all statutory electrical inspections are completed in line with legislation and follow-up actions closed out

- Conduct weekly safety briefings and participate in near miss reporting and safety actions

Skills & Experience Required

- 18th Edition qualified

- Proven experience within a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment

- Management or supervisory experience

- Strong knowledge of high-voltage infrastructure

- Experience with ATEX and DSEAR regulations

- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motor circuits, electricity and electronics

- PLC systems knowledge and experience

- Experience using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)

- Financial management and budget control experience

- Strong understanding of engineering and business principles

- NEBOSH or IOSH qualification (preferred)
