Electrical Maintenance Supervisor

We are looking for an-Electrical Maintenance Supervisor-who wants to work in a diverse role-where no two days are the same.

As the-Electrical Maintenance Supervisor,-you will-provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.
Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an-Electrical Maintenance Supervisor-to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
The-Electrical Maintenance Supervisor,-will be responsible for:
- Supervise and delegate tasks to maintenance and engineering teams.
- Monitor and ensure timely completion of planned and reactive maintenance.
- Conduct team briefings, toolbox talks, and support staff training.
- Carry out hands-on maintenance and minor repair work when required.
- Oversee the quality and completion of work carried out by staff and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Manage procurement of tools, materials, and equipment for maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate service records, job sheets, and compliance documentation.
- Support performance reviews and development of maintenance team members.
- Use maintenance software systems to manage tasks and monitor KPIs.
- Ensure high standards of housekeeping in all plant and work areas.
- Provide estimates for minor additional works and report to management.
- Be available for out-of-hours work as required by operational needs.
To be successful for this Electrical Maintenance Supervisor role you must have:
- Recognised trade electrical qualification.
- Up-to-date knowledge of BS7671 Electrical Wiring Regulations.
- Health & Safety certification (e.g., IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a supervisory maintenance role.
- Strong understanding of planned and reactive maintenance procedures.
- Ability to manage and coordinate a team effectively.
- Confident in communicating with both team members and clients.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Good working knowledge of maintenance management systems (e.g. CAFM).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Willingness to work outside normal hours when required.
- Full, clean driving licence.
