Salary: -30,000 - -45,000 per annum DOE
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30

Fusion People are advertising on behalf of our esteemed client for an Electrical Maintenance Operative to join a well-established and fast-growing business within the private self-storage sector.

This is a great opportunity for a proactive and skilled Electrical Maintenance Operative to join one of the UK''s leading private self-storage providers, supporting a variety of sites across South Wales and the Midlands.

The successful candidate will be based from Newport and will travel to various sites across South Wales and the Midlands, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of buildings, including self-storage facilities, office complexes and retail parades.

Duties Will Include:

• Carrying out routine and reactive electrical maintenance, inspections and repairs

• Diagnosing faults and completing effective repairs using the correct tools and techniques

• Working in line with health and safety standards, Permit to Work systems and incident reporting procedures

• Maintaining safe, clean and compliant working environments

• Recording completed works and associated costs accurately using internal systems

• Managing workload effectively to meet KPI and SLA targets

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Completed electrical apprenticeship

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent

• 18th Edition Electrical Regulations certification

• Experience with cladding and roofing

• IPAF licence

• CSCS card desirable

• Good understanding of health and safety, including risk assessments

• Full UK driving licence

• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

• Confidence using IT systems to log work and update records

• Strong communication skills and a good team-focused approach
