About the RoleWe are recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join a Building Services team supporting a large acute healthcare facility in Sutton-in-Ashfield. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and repairing a wide range of electrical and building engineering systems across a busy hospital environment.Working within a specialist facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring critical electrical systems remain safe, compliant, and operational, supporting the delivery of essential healthcare services.Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Electrician, you will:Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities to a high standard.Undertake inspection and testing of fixed electrical installations and portable equipment in accordance with current wiring regulations.Maintain and fault-find on a range of electrical systems and equipment.Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with statutory compliance requirements.Complete accurate maintenance records, reports, and supporting documentation.Use CAFM systems to manage and record maintenance activities.Participate in relevant training and continuous professional development activities.Systems and Equipment CoveredThe role will involve maintenance and repair of a broad range of building services and electrical infrastructure, including:Electrical power and distribution systemsUPS systemsFire alarm systemsNurse call and communication ..... full job details .....
