Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Yolk Recruitment is supporting an established Welsh manufacturer in their search for a Multi-Skilled Engineer with a strong Electrical bias. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing engineering team, playing a key role in maintaining production performance, improving equipment reliability, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.Working a rotating three-shift pattern covering mornings, afternoons and nights, you''ll be responsible for keeping manufacturing operations running safely, efficiently and reliably through a combination of reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance, fault finding and engineering improvements. What You''ll Be DoingAs a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you''ll work across electrical and mechanical systems to ensure plant performance is maintained at the highest level. Key responsibilities will include:Responding quickly to electrical and mechanical breakdowns to minimise production downtime.Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs across production machinery, automated equipment and site services.Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities and inspections to a high standard.Carrying out mechanical maintenance and breakdown repairs as part of a multi-skilled engineering team.Identifying recurring equipment issues and supporting root cause analysis activities.Implementing corrective actions to improve reliability and prevent repeat failures.Working closely with production teams to maximise ..... full job details .....
