Electrically Biased Maintenance EngineerLocation: Hertfordshire Salary: 48K Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (6:00am-2:00pm / 2:00pm-10:00pm) No weekendThe RoleWe are seeking an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing site in Watford. This role is ideal for an engineer with strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience gained within a regulated manufacturing environment.You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement activities across a range of production equipment and site services, ensuring high levels of reliability, safety and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out electrical and mechanical maintenance on production equipment.Perform fault finding and troubleshooting on automated manufacturing machinery.Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks.Work on conveyors, motors, drives, sensors and control systems.Support site utilities including HVAC, steam systems, compressed air and water systems.Ensure compliance with GMP standards and engineering safety procedures.Follow Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), isolation and safe working procedures.Assist with continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives.Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.Candidate RequirementsApprentice-trained Engineer with an electrical bias.Previous experience within pharmaceutical, food, FMCG or manufacturing ..... full job details .....
