In this role, you will be the backbone of our production efficiency, ensuring the smooth operation and repair of plastic injection moulding machinery.Beyond technical expertise, this role offers a unique opportunity for leadership and development. You will play a pivotal role in mentoring an apprentice engineer, guiding the next generation of talent while driving continuous improvement across the site through structured reporting and proactive maintenance strategies.Key ResponsibilitiesEquipment Maintenance: Perform routine and reactive maintenance on injection moulding machines and auxiliary kit (chillers, robots, granulators, and compressors).Electrical Expertise: Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues, including PLC control systems and electronic subsystems.Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement equipment upgrades to enhance performance and reliability.Mentorship: Oversee the training and professional growth of a dedicated apprentice engineer.Accountability and Reporting: Provide daily activity reports and weekly progress updates on improvement projects to ensure transparency and operational excellence.Health and Safety: Maintain strict adherence to safety standards, ..... full job details .....
