Position: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Wetherby
Salary: £42,000 per annum + Overtime
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
 
A prestigious FM service provider is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their on-site engineering team at a static commercial building in Wetherby. What you''ll do:

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the commercial building.
• Fault-find and repair electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, control panels, and associated building services.
• Assist with High Voltage and Low Voltage switching duties, following site procedures and safety protocols.
• Complete routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure electrical systems remain safe, compliant, and fully operational.
• Respond to breakdowns and maintenance requests, diagnosing and resolving faults efficiently.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety and compliance requirements.

What you''ll bring:

• City & Guilds / NVQ qualification in an Electrical discipline.
• 18th Edition qualification.
• Proven experience within commercial building services or facilities maintenance.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Understanding of electrical distribution systems, with experience or knowledge of HV/LV switching desirable.
• A proactive, reliable, and professional approach to maintenance.
