Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Questech Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer at a busy food manufacturing facility in Bristol. The Hours Monday - Friday 3 Shift (6-2/ 2-10 /10-6) Regular Overtime Is avaialble The Role You will be responsible for maintaining and improving electrical systems and equipment to ensure maximum uptime and compliance within a fast-paced food production environment. Key Responsibilities Electrical fault finding, diagnostics, and breakdown repair on production machinery Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance Working on conveyors, packaging lines, motors, drives, sensors, and PLC-controlled equipment Ensuring all work complies with health and safety and food industry standards Supporting continuous improvement and minimising downtime Requirements Time-served Electrical Engineer or equivalent qualification Strong electrical maintenance experience within food, FMCG, or manufacturing environments Ability to fault find under pressure in a fast-moving production setting Knowledge of PLCs (fault finding level preferred) Flexible, reliable, and able to work independently on contract assignments What s on Offer Competitive contract rate Opportunity to work with a well-known food manufacturer Excellent opportunities for progression ..... full job details .....
