Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for a permanent Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well established manufacturing company in Congleton. Offering a 4 day working week, 36 hours Mon-Thursday, generous salary and attractive benefits with modern, clean working conditions. Duties Install, maintain, and repair plant, machinery, and equipment to a high standard while ensuring safety at all times. Carrying out routine electrical maintenance, responding quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime Installing new electrical services in line with regulations and manufacturer guidelines. Schedule maintenance with minimal disruption, supporting troubleshooting activities, and helping identify preventive maintenance improvements. You may also be required to assist with out-of-hours breakdowns and support with purchasing maintenance consumables and equipment. Requirements We are seeking an experienced electrician with a completed electrical apprenticeship and strong technical ability across motors, drives, PLC panels, calibration, testing and inspection (17th/18th Edition). You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, communicate clearly, read drawings, design installations, and problem-solve effectively.
