Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established industrial business based in Dalbeattie. This is a permanent opportunity to join a busy engineering and maintenance team, providing electrical maintenance, fault-finding and breakdown support across a wide range of production plant and machinery. Working alongside a team of Engineers and reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in keeping the site running safely and efficiently. The position will involve a combination of planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, electrical fault finding and responding to machinery breakdowns. The Role As Electrical Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across production equipment and machinery. Diagnosing electrical faults and completing repairs to minimise production downtime. Troubleshooting and testing equipment, control systems and associated software. Responding promptly to breakdowns across production lines. Working with electrical, electromechanical, pneumatic and mechanical equipment. Installing and replacing components including motors, pumps and valves. Carrying out planned maintenance inspections and identifying potential faults before they result in breakdowns.
