Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Outside IR35 contract

Experience of working in a fast-paced, automated, distribution environment or similar?

I am looking to speak with experienced, electrically biased, maintenance engineers for a new contract position with a company based in the Glasgow region.

Working on a 4 on, 4 off rotation, you will be required to work alongside the existing team of maintenance engineers on both reactive and preventative tasks in supporting the facilities distribution activities.

The client, a large manufacturing business, needs additional support during an upward trend of work. You will be working in partnership with the existing permanent engineering team to maintain a variety of distribution equipment including conveyors, cranes and wrappers.

Due to site regulations, you MUST hold an HNC/HND level qualification as well as a Level 3 SVQ/NVQ (minimum) OR you must have one of these qualifications alongside experience and evidence of using & maintaining cranes and working at height.

You must have the qualifications in order to be considered for this role. The SVQ/NVQ must be a work based competency qualification such as part of an Apprenticeship or standalone SVQ/NVQ.

Key requirements:

• Proven experience of working in a similar maintenance engineering role
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability and willingness to work on both reactive and PPM jobs
• You must be happy and have previous experience of working at height and any qualifications/certifications in this field would be highly beneficial.

Although this is an automated site, specific experience in this area isn't required but would be beneficial, such as with ASRS systems.
