New Electrical Maintenance Engineer Job - Middlesex An exciting opportunity has arisen in Middlesex for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a highly skilled Technical Services function supporting complex manufacturing and test environments. Key Duties and Responsibilities The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will: Carry out repairs, improvements, and de-risking activities on manufacturing and test equipment. Support engineering programmes addressing obsolescence, unreliability, and process risk. Contribute to the upgrade, refurbishment, and replacement of complex equipment including vacuum systems, high-voltage systems, RF systems, scientific furnaces, thin-film coating systems, and control hardware. Work closely with multi-disciplinary engineering teams and external contractors to ensure work is delivered safely, on time, and to specification. Assist with technical specifications, supplier evaluations, and contractor proposals. Experience and Technical Background The successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer will demonstrate strong practical and technical experience in several of the following areas: High-risk systems such as high voltage and complex control systems. Engineering support within manufacturing, electronics, or advanced technology environments. Capital equipment upgrades, lifecycle planning, and commissioning activities.
