Electrical Maintenance Engineer

MTrec s new career opportunity Our client are specialists in their industry sector, they are looking to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer on a permanent basis. The role will be working a Panama shift where you will work 7 days out of every 14 days. The shift pattern is 2 weeks of days (6.30am to 6.00pm) then 2 weeks of nights (6.30pm to 6.00am). The Job you ll do As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will be part of a hands-on in-house team who keep the plant running by ensuring the equipment runs smoothly. From troubleshooting to planned preventive maintenance (PPM), you will be hands-on with specialist machinery, ensuring everything runs like clockwork. It''s a dynamic role where problem-solving skills and technical expertise are used daily, and you will be a key player contributing to the efficiency and reliability of our production processes. Engineers have a varied role, so you ll get the chance to use a variety of electrical skills associated with being an electrician and service engineer. Install and maintaining all electrical and electro-mechanical plant equipment or machinery. Operating a preventative electrical maintenance system. Faulting finding and repairs. Program Siemens and other programmable logic controllers (PLC s). Use various types of testing equipment to locate and remedy faults. Promote Lean thinking. Attend breakdowns.
