Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Salary:28k - -45k per annum DOE-
Location:-Sandwich, Kent
Shift Pattern:-4 on / 4 off (12-hour shifts, days and nights)

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned maintenance to maximise machinery uptime
• Respond to reactive maintenance tasks, minimising downtime
• Work on electrical installations up to 440V and safety circuits
• Diagnose faults using mechanical and electrical root cause analysis
• Support the Maintenance team in achieving zero breakdowns

Essential Skills & Experience:

-

• NVQ Level 3+ in Engineering-
• Ideally with previous experience, but would consider post-apprenticeship applicants
• Electrical Engineering apprenticeship, ideally in manufacturing
• Strong problem-solving skills under pressure
• Knowledge of AC/DC motors and variable speed drives

Desirable:

-

• 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
• Experience in 24/7 manufacturing environments
• Basic welding techniques
