Electrical Maintenance Engineer

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in Grimsby, you''ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment in a busy FMCG environment. Your role will focus on maintaining and repairing electrical systems to keep production running efficiently.

Description

Duties will include:

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimise downtime.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to support operational needs.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members as required.

Profile

A successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer should have:

• A recognised qualification in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Experience working in an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, machinery, and fault-finding techniques.
• An understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

Job Offer

4 on 4 off shift pattern. 6am-6pm, 6pm-6am.

• Hourly rate of -23.13 based on a 42.5 hour work week, totalling -51,117.30 annually.
• No call-outs required.
• Bonus scheme of -1200 per year (paid quarterly)
