Electrical Maintenance Engineer

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and reputable manufacturing business based in Birmingham.This role offers a competitive salary alongside an attractive benefits package, including a salary sacrifice pension scheme with matched contributions up to 10%. Onsite occupational health, tool purchase program and external training provided on PLC s, hydraulics etc as well as a structure development assessment program totalling over £10K of incremental salary increase. The RoleAs a Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of manufacturing and site equipment. You will work within a structured maintenance environment focused on safety, quality, and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities Carry out front-line electrical repairs and maintenance activitiesPerform predictive and preventative maintenance to reduce downtimeMaintain manufacturing machinery and ancillary/site service equipmentDiagnose faults using electrical drawings and PLC systemsSupport machine reliability and continuous improvement initiativesLiaise with production teams regarding downtime, repairs, and plant handoversDeliver effective and efficient breakdown responseEnsure compliance with all Health and Safety and quality proceduresWork collaboratively within a flexible engineering team environment RequirementsElectrical Maintenance background or ..... full job details .....
