With Operations across the UK and with an ever expanding customer base, this prestigious manufacturer are planning the next part of their recruitment push in the Maintenance team. Following their recent investment they are looking for an Electrical maintenance engineer to join their well-established maintenance team, the position would provide you with excellent job security as well as opportunities to work overtime and earn extra money on top of the salary and shift. The role is a Days based position Monday - Friday which would give you the weekends free to enjoy the lifestyle mid Wales would provide.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Ensuring plant equipment is operated and functioning in the correct manner.
- Maintaining equipment on a daily basis to ensure it is fit for its intended purpose.
- Ensuring appropriate housekeeping standards are maintained on a daily basis.
- Continually developing to improve operations to drive improvements in quality, cost and safety.
- Assisting production with electrical problems and setups, providing relevant training when appropriate.
- Completing daily maintenance check sheets and job cards
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- A HNC/HND/BTEC in electrical engineering and appropriate post-apprenticeship experience in a food manufacturing environment would be of benefit.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
- Having completed 18th Edition training is necessary
- Excellent organisational skills with ability to plan workloads effectively to meet deadlines.
