Electrical Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Thurmaston, LeicesterSalary: 49,475 per annumJob Type: Full-Time, PermanentShift PatternWeek 1Monday to Thursday: 5:30am to 4:00pmFriday: 5:30am to 1:30pmPaid lunch breaks includedWeek 2Monday to Thursday: 12:00pm to 10:30pmFriday: Non-working dayPaid lunch breaks included Electrical Maintenance Technician - Thurmaston, LeicesterWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a successful and well-established engineering manufacturer based in Thurmaston, Leicester.Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the performance of a range of manufacturing and engineering equipment through both planned and reactive maintenance activities. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong electrical fault-finding abilities and a proactive approach to equipment reliability and continuous improvement.The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring machinery uptime, reducing downtime, supporting TPM initiatives and driving a "prevent it before it breaks" maintenance culture.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out electrical fault finding, diagnostics and repairs on manufacturing equipment.Conduct CNC and PLC fault finding and repairs.Support the site''s Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programme.Assist in developing and implementing preventive, predictive and condition-based maintenance strategies.Undertake Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 5 Whys ..... full job details .....
