Electrical bias Building Services Engineer

Location: West End, London (W1)

Salary: -43,000 - -47,000 per annum

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Electrical bias Building Services Engineer to join our dedicated on-site team at a prestigious, high-end commercial office space in the heart of London''s West End.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for a stable, static role with a great work-life balance and no call-out rota. You will be the go-to expert for all electrical systems, ensuring the resilience and safety of this landmark building.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on all electrical plant and systems.

  • Fault-finding, diagnostics, and repair on single and three-phase power, lighting systems (including emergency lighting), distribution boards, and final circuits.

  • Conducting statutory compliance checks such as emergency light testing and fire alarm tests.

  • Providing first-line response to basic mechanical issues, including filter changes on AHUs/FCUs and minor plumbing repairs.

  • Monitoring the Building Management System (BMS).

  • Maintaining accurate records and logs of all completed work.

  • Ensuring all work is carried out in strict compliance with current health and safety regulations.



The Ideal Candidate:

  • Fully qualified with an NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installations.

  • Certified in BS 7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
