About the Role
You will join a Further Education College with state-of-the-art facilities and an outstanding Ofsted rating. You will be responsible for delivering Level 2 and Level 3 Electrical Installation programmes, supporting apprentices in both practical and theoretical aspects of their training.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality teaching in Electrical Installation (Levels 1-3), combining both theory and practical skills to meet current industry standards.
Plan and assess learning through assignments, practical tasks, and examinations, ensuring student progress and achievement of qualifications such as City & Guilds and T-Levels.
Maintain a safe and compliant learning environment, ensuring all workshop tools and equipment are used in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Support and mentor learners by providing guidance, pastoral care, and helping them develop technical expertise alongside employability skills.
Engage in continuous professional development, keeping up to date with the latest electrical regulations (including the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations).
Collaborate effectively with colleagues, employers, and stakeholders to enhance the learning experience.
