Electrical Installation Engineer

Ranson Barnes Recruitment is working with a leading and growing specialist organisation to recruit an Electrical Installation Engineer. This role involves installing high-quality, specialist environments within customer sites across the UK.

The Role

• Install specialist equipment within customer premises to a high standard

• Carry out electrical installation, testing, and inspection in line with 18th Edition regulations

• Issue electrical safety certificates upon completion

• Conduct site surveys and risk assessments prior to installation

• Perform maintenance, servicing, and fault finding on equipment

• Support with basic joinery and fitting tasks where required

About You

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

• Level 3 Testing & Inspection qualification

• ECS Gold Card

• Full UK driving licence

• Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive, “can-do” attitude

• Experience in handling tools (for the non electrical aspects of installations)

Additional Information

• Regular travel and working away during the week (some full-week stays required)

• £36K - £38K basic + overnight allowance

• Meals and high-quality accommodation provided when working away

• DBS check required
