Electrical Inspector

We''re currently looking for an Electrical Inspector to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing operation based in Bedfordshire. This is a 24-month fixed-term contract supporting high-volume production and final inspection of electrical cable harnesses used in safety-critical applications. If you enjoy hands-on electrical inspection work in a structured, quality-driven environment - and value work/life balance - this could be a great opportunity.What You''ll Be DoingElectrical inspection and verification of cable and wire harness assembliesPerforming continuity, resistance and bond testing using hand-held electrical test equipmentUsing Automated Test Equipment (ATE) to run programs and generate inspection reportsWorking to defined work instructions and quality standardsIdentifying, recording and managing non-conforming productsReading and interpreting electrical drawings and specificationsSupporting both high-volume production and one-off investigation workAll work is carried out in line with IPC-620 standards.Essential Skills and ExperienceIPC?620 certification (Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies) - must haveExperience with electrical inspection and verificationCompetent using Digital Multimeters, Ohmmeters and similar toolsUnderstanding of ESD-sensitive productsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs accuratelyGood communication skills and ability to work effectively within a small teamDesirable (but not ..... full job details .....
