Electrical Inspector (IPC) Location: Ampthill, Bedfordshire Contract: Permanent Hours: 37.5 hours per week Working Pattern: 4-day week Monday to Thursday Security Clearance: BPSS to start / SC clearance required The Opportunity We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Inspector to join a leading organisation operating within the defence and advanced engineering sector at their facility in Ampthill, Bedfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Inspector, Quality Inspector or Test Technician with strong knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 and experience inspecting and testing cable harnesses, wiring looms and electrical assemblies. You''ll join an established Quality team supporting the manufacture of high-value, high-reliability products across a range of technically challenging programmes. The position also benefits from an excellent 4-day working week, Monday to Thursday. The Role As an Electrical Inspector, you''ll be responsible for ensuring manufactured electrical products conform to the required engineering, quality and IPC standards. You''ll work across both high-volume electrical cable manufacturing and specialist one-off/investigation work, carrying out inspection, electrical testing and supporting the management of non-conforming products.
