Electrical Improver

Role Overview

We are looking for experienced Electrical Improvers to join our team on an industrial project in Runcorn. Working alongside qualified electricians, you''ll assist with electrical installation works on a busy industrial site, helping to deliver high-quality installations safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting electricians with industrial electrical installations
• Installing containment systems including tray, trunking, conduit, and cable basket
• Assisting with the installation, glanding, and termination of SWA cables
• Pulling, routing, and dressing power and control cables
• Installing electrical accessories and equipment
• Working from drawings and following site instructions
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Complying with all site health and safety procedures

Requirements

• Valid ECS Card-and-IPAF (essential)
• Previous experience as an Electrical Improver on industrial or commercial projects
• Experience installing electrical containment
• Experience assisting with SWA cable installation
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good understanding of site health and safety requirements

Desirable

• Ability to interpret electrical drawings
• Previous experience on manufacturing or industrial sites

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 40 hours per week
• Overtime may be available
