Hill McGlynn is recruiting on behalf of a leading M&E contractor for experienced Electrical Improvers to work on a 8-week commercial project in Sutton Coldfield, starting ASAP. 

This is a great opportunity to join a well-managed site and assist with a full electrical installation alongside a skilled team of electricians and foremen.

The Role:

You’ll support the delivery of a complete electrical package, including containment, lighting, power, data, CCTV, and access control systems. This is a site-based, hands-on role requiring proven experience and a proactive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with electrical installation tasks including containment, cabling, and equipment setup
• Supporting the installation of lighting, small power, data, CCTV, and access control systems
• Working under the supervision of qualified electricians and site foremen
• Following electrical plans, drawings, and specifications
• Ensuring work is carried out safely and to a high standard

Requirements:

• Valid ECS Card (Improver or Trainee level)
• Previous experience on commercial electrical installations
• Strong working knowledge of containment systems, lighting, power, data, CCTV, and access control
• Good attitude, team player, and able to work under supervision
• Available to start ASAP  and commit to the full duration of the project
