Location: Warwick
Hours: 37 hours per week
Pay Rate: £17.73 – £19.10 per hour DOE

About the Role

Tech Connect Group are currently working with a specialist manufacturer of refuse collection vehicles to recruit an Electrical Fitter for their Warwick facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing electrical work as part of the vehicle build process, ensuring each vehicle is assembled correctly and ready for final inspection. This role would suit someone with a strong practical background who enjoys working with electrical systems, diagnosing issues and seeing a project through from build to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical assembly work during the construction of specialist commercial vehicles.
• Install and connect vehicle electrical systems, components and associated equipment.
• Follow technical information and build instructions to ensure work is completed accurately.
• Use electrical knowledge to identify, investigate and resolve issues during the build.
• Carry out functional checks to confirm electrical systems are operating as required.
• Work alongside mechanical and production teams to keep vehicle builds progressing efficiently.
• Ensure completed work meets company quality, safety and workmanship expectations.
• Highlight any technical or build issues and assist with finding practical solutions.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

About You

• Previous experience working with vehicle electrics, electrical assembly, electrical fitting or a comparable role.
• A good practical understanding of vehicle or industrial electrical systems.
• Comfortable using technical information to complete electrical work accurately.
• Capable of diagnosing electrical problems in a logical and methodical way.
• Relevant electrical training or qualifications would be beneficial.
• Good attention to detail and a strong focus on getting work right first time.
• Able to work at pace while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
• Reliable, team-focused and comfortable working within a manufacturing environment.
