Electrical Fitter Location: Kings Heath Depot, NorthamptonShift: Monday-Friday, 06:00-16:00Hours: 50 hours per weekRate: £22.19 PAYE / £28.31 Umbrella (first 12 weeks) / £29.83 Umbrella (after 12 weeks)Duration: 18 months+ / Long-term contractAssessment Day: Ideally 14th SeptemberPreferred Start Date: 28th SeptemberDrug and Alcohol: Successful candidates will be required to complete a Drug and Alcohol (DandA) test as part of the pre-employment process. Position Summary Working at a newly refurbished depot in Northampton on large-scale overhaul projects, you will be working as part of a team of Fitters focused on refitting the interiors of train carriages to modernise the fleet. Responsibilities Electrical installation of train systems, including lighting, CCTV, USB and LED lights Fitment of PIS (Passenger Information Systems) Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, diagrams and modification instructions Testing and routing electrical wiring and components Using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical faults Documenting all work completed, including test results, materials used and any deviations from planned work Person Profile Experience as an Electrical Fitter, Exam Technician or Maintenance Technician with an electrical bias NVQ Level 3 within a relevant engineering/electrical discipline Experience reading and interpreting ..... full job details .....
