Specialising in electrical, electronic & mechanical engineering, we provide a complete turnkey fault-find, repair and manufacture service for a wide range of clients. Growing demand has led to an immediate requirement for an experienced Electrical Fitter with in-depth knowledge and experience of repairing electrical rotating equipment. A key part of the role is to provide rostered out-of-hours cover which attracts generous remuneration. Duties will Include Dismantling a wide range of motors (including AC & DC), brake motors, gearboxes, pumps, fan units, and experience with static and dynamic testing. Testing and repair of transformers. Identifying and repairing any faults found. Re-assembly and testing of equipment following repair Working with motor voltages up to 415 Volts and test voltages up to 2Kv Dealing with technical issues which may arise Attending site to test and analyse motors and generators in use using standard industry equipment and determining faults and repair action required Experience...
