The role involves installing complex electrical systems and control panels onto vehicle chassis. You''ll be working from engineering drawings to wire, fit, and terminate electrical components and cabling for industrial-grade scanning and automation equipment.Key Responsibilities:Electrical installation of scanning systems and control panels on large vehiclesWiring complete systems onto truck and van chassisPoint-to-point wiring, loom building, cable crimping, and terminatingFitting of data and comms cabling including RJ45, Cat5/Cat6General mechanical fitting: marking out, drilling, tapping, bracket fittingReading and interpreting engineering wiring diagrams and schematicsUsing hand and power tools for installation tasksExperience with vehicle conversions is beneficialTrade Test Includes:Wiring an SY cable to a circuit breakerTerminating it with an RJ45 connectorUse of crimping ..... full job details .....
