You''ll play a key role in modernising passenger rail vehicles, helping deliver the comfort, reliability and technology today''s passengers expect.Working within a highly skilled engineering team, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical modifications, wiring, cabling, testing and fault-finding activities across a fleet of passenger rail vehicles.Key Responsibilities Carry out wiring, crimping, cable routing and fault-finding activities on passenger rail vehicles.Perform electrical modifications and installation work using technical drawings and wiring schematics.Inspect, repair and rectify damaged cables, connectors and electrical components.Work with large volumes of cabling, ensuring exceptional attention to detail and maintaining high workmanship standards.Interpret and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and engineering drawings.Support mechanical strip and rebuild activities on underframe equipment including battery boxes, fuse boxes, air conditioning ..... full job details .....
