Electrical WirerBristolFord and Stanley are pleased to be working with our client within the rolling stock industry at their facility based in Bristol, supporting the recruitment of an Electrical Wirer.Rate: £27.32 per hour (Umbrella)Contract Length: 18 MonthsIR35 Status: Inside IR35Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:30Overtime: AvailableThe OpportunityWe are seeking experienced Electrical Wirers to support a major rolling stock maintenance programme in Bristol.Working within a heavy maintenance environment, you will be responsible for fault finding, wiring modifications, installations and electrical repairs on low-voltage vehicle systems. You will work from engineering drawings and Vehicle Maintenance Instructions (VMIs) to complete electrical work safely and to the required quality standards.This role would suit candidates with previous experience as an Electrical Wirer, Panel Wirer, Vehicle Electrician, Electrical Fitter or Rolling Stock Technician who are comfortable working on safety-critical equipment and electrical assemblies.Key Responsibilities Carry out wiring, installation and modification work on low-voltage electrical systems.Undertake electrical fault finding and diagnostics.Install, terminate and route cables.Complete cable glanding and crimping activities to engineering standards.Identify, label and verify electrical circuits and components.Assemble and wire control boxes and electrical equipment.Work on systems including: Control ..... full job details .....
