Electrical Fitter

Job: Electrical Fitter

Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am-1pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation: Install electrical systems, machinery, and appliances, including reading wiring diagrams and blueprints to guide the work. 

• Assembly: Build and wire electrical control panels and other electrical assemblies. 

• Maintenance & Repair: Service, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and components, replacing faulty parts and wiring as needed. 

• Testing & Diagnostics: Test electrical systems and equipment using various instruments to ensure safety, identify problems, and monitor performance.

Education and Previous Experience:

- Lvl 3 NVQ or City and Guilds qualification

- Previous electrical experience

- Experience within working in an engineering shopfloor would also be desirable but not essential
