Electrical Field Service Engineer

Role: Electrical Field Service Engineer

Location: Field Based

Salary: -35,000 - -45,000 depending on experience

Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Electrical Field Service Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer to carry out service, maintenance, inspection, and retrofit work for customers across the UK.

The successful candidate will be customer-focused, technically capable, and comfortable working independently on a variety of industrial sites.

Responsibilities include:

• Service, maintenance, inspection, and repair of electrical systems on industrial sites
• Fault-finding and diagnostics on electrical equipment and systems
• Retrofit and installation work, including actuator and control system upgrades
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with safety and compliance standards
• Completing accurate service reports and documentation
• Liaising with customers on-site in a professional manner
• Travelling to client sites across the UK and staying away when required

Skills & Experience:

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (City & Guilds)
• Inspection & Testing qualification (2391)
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away as required
