Electrical Field Engineer

We are working with a specialist environmental engineering organisation delivering water and wastewater treatment solutions across the UK. They are seeking an Electrical Field Engineer to support the installation, commissioning and servicing of specialist treatment equipment across customer sites. You can be based from either Milton Keynes, Coventry or Leicester. This is a practical field based engineering role combining electrical installation, equipment commissioning, fault diagnosis and client support. The work ranges from hands on installation activity through to technical troubleshooting and data analysis when resolving operational issues on site. The position will suit an electrically qualified engineer with experience working in construction or industrial environments who enjoys varied site work, problem solving and working directly with customers. Due to the nature of the role, regular travel and overnight stays during the week will be required. Key Responsibilities Carry out installation, commissioning and servicing of specialist treatment equipment at client sites. Prepare and complete equipment installation work incorporating electrical, mechanical and instrumentation elements within limits of competence. Carry out testing and final fit out of equipment during commissioning to ensure safe and reliable operation. Diagnose equipment issues, analyse site performance and resolve operational faults.
