Job Title: Electrical Facility Support EngineerJob DescriptionThis role supports the safe and reliable operation of a critical environment data centre by assisting with the monitoring, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of electrical and related building systems. Working under supervision, you will provide on-site support for electrical infrastructure, escort third-party contractors, and help ensure that all activities comply with safety, security, and operational procedures. The position is fully on-site in Newport and involves working flexible hours within core business times to maintain high availability of essential services.ResponsibilitiesProvide escort support for third-party contractors, sub-contractors, vendors, and service providers working within the data centre.Carry out routine tasks such as site rounds and initial assessments of equipment performance under supervision.Perform basic monitoring of the performance of maintenance and operations of equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems, with supervision.Assist with safe emergency monitoring and response to abnormal conditions by following established Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs).Follow and uphold all safety procedures while performing work and comply fully with all physical security procedures and policies.Take daily operational readings of electrical equipment during routine rounds, including temperatures, voltages, currents, and other key parameters.Follow Standard ..... full job details .....
