Electrical Facilities Technician

As the Electrical Facilities Technician, based on site, you will ensure all environmental conditions are always maintained within critical building systems. The Electrical Facilities Technician will carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive and breakdown works to all mechanical and electrical systems within the site. We are looking for someone with the ability to demonstrate relevant knowledge of, HV and LV electrical services, control panels, AHU''s, pumps and motors which will include the ability to fault find with the help of the BMS and the utilisation of current alarm data. Main responsibilities will include: Ensure that reactive tasks throughout the building are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made. Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works. Provide parts lists and estimated timescales to carry out remedial works and send out site communications where necessary. Ensure the provision of a Safe and Healthy working environment, include the wearing of relevant PPE. Ensure that all plant rooms under your responsibility are always locked and are kept in a clean and tidy condition. Supervise and monitor of sub-contractors works whilst they are on site undertaking maintenance. Arrange and provide holiday and sickness cover at short notice and be flexible with working patterns where necessary. Ensure assigned tasks are actioned and completed as appropriate.
