I''m currently working with a well-established -40m turnover M&E contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality commercial fit-out projects across London and the South East. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they''re looking to appoint an Electrical Estimator to join their pre-construction team at their Central London office.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Estimator or an ambitious Intermediate Estimator looking to take the next step in their career with a business that genuinely invests in its people.

• Established M&E contractor with an annual turnover of approximately -40m
• Specialists in commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects
• Typical project values ranging up to -15m
• Strong client base with a high level of repeat business
• Stable, collaborative and growing pre-construction team

Working closely with the Pre-Construction Manager and wider commercial team, you''ll be responsible for producing competitive and accurate electrical tenders from initial enquiry through to submission.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing detailed electrical estimates and cost plans
• Reviewing tender documentation, specifications and drawings
• Obtaining and evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Identifying value engineering opportunities
• Liaising with clients, consultants and the internal delivery teams
• Assisting with tender presentations and handovers to the project teams

• Minimum 3 years'' experience in electrical estimating
• Experience using relevant estimating software
• Background within the M&E or building services sector
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Experience tendering projects valued at -5m+ would be highly advantageous
• Intermediate Estimators looking to progress into a more senior role are encouraged to apply
