Electrical Estimator

Electrical Estimator MandE SSA are recruiting an Electrical Estimator on behalf of a specialist Electrical contractor based in Maiden Head. You will prepare accurate and competitive electrical tenders, working closely with suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams. About the client Our client is a specialist Electrical contractor delivering technically demanding construction projects. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in securing new work, working closely with the commercial and project teams. Key responsibilities Prepare detailed electrical estimates from drawings, specifications and tender documents. Complete quantity take-offs and calculate labour, material and subcontractor costs. Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations. Review tender requirements, identifying risks, exclusions and opportunities. Prepare tender submissions, clearly outlining pricing assumptions and clarifications. Attend tender review meetings and support handovers to project delivery teams. Requirements Minimum 3 years Experience electrical estimating within MandE or electrical contracting. Experience in commercial DandB, Pharma/Labs prefered Good understanding of electrical installations, drawings and specifications. Ability to prepare accurate take-offs and competitive tender submissions. Experience obtaining and comparing supplier and subcontractor quotations.
