ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR – BUILDING SERVICES CONTRACTOR – KENT My client is a well-established Building Services Contractor based in Kent, operating for over 15 years. With a team of over 20 dedicated professionals, they specialise in the Commercial, Hotel, and Retail sectors, regularly delivering projects with values up to £2.5 million. They pride themselves on being a flexible, team-oriented company where everyone supports each other to get the job done. Due to a continued increase in tenders, they are now looking to recruit an Electrical Estimator to join their friendly and professional team. THE JOB – ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR Hours: Monday – Friday / 8:30am – 4:30pm Location: Kent Software Used: EnSign Duties will include: - Reviewing and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications. - Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical installations on commercial, hotel, and retail projects. - Sending out and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations. - Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal project teams. - Conducting site visits to assess requirements and gather project information. - Assisting in the preparation of tender submissions. - Maintaining and updating a database of prices, labour rates, and material costs. - Attending pre- and post-tender meetings as required. - Working closely with project managers and engineers to ensure continuity from estimate to project delivery.
