Electrical Estimator

MMP are currently recruiting for two Electrical Estimators to work with a Private Contractor in Surrey on a permanent basis.Job Title: Electrical EstimatorLocation: SussexRate/Salary: 55,000 - 60,000 per annum (DOE)Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed electrical estimates and tender submissions.Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.Carry out take-offs and cost analysis.Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.Identify value engineering opportunities where appropriate.Liaise with clients, consultants and suppliers throughout the tender process.Support project handovers to the delivery teams.Produce RAMS for handoverMaintain accurate estimating records and tender documentation. Candidate Requirements Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator.Strong understanding of commercial electrical installations.Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.Strong communication and organisational skills.Experience using estimating software is desirable.Full UK driving licence preferred.What We OfferCompetitive salary, dependent on experience.Company pension.Ongoing training and professional development.Genuine opportunities for career progression within a growing business.A supportive and collaborative working environment.
