Electrical Estimator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for various projects, ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards. Duties Analyse project plans, specifications, and drawings to develop comprehensive cost estimates Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to gather relevant pricing information Prepare detailed proposals outlining labour, materials, equipment, and other costs Monitor project budgets and update estimates as project scope evolves Assist in negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favourable terms Conduct market research to stay informed of current pricing trends and material costs Implement cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle to optimise expenditure Prepare reports and documentation for management review and decision-making Qualifications Proven experience in electrical estimating within the construction is a must On-site experience is preferred but not essential Strong understanding of cost control principles and techniques Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail Proficient in relevant software tools such as MS Excel and estimating programmes Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts ..... full job details .....
